Next steps
At the forefront of bioremediation, the next steps in the evolution of biofilters encompass the utilization of other materials, large-scale development, and long-term monitoring, as well as public education and awareness. These joint efforts aim to maximize the effectiveness and scale of biofilters, promoting a comprehensive and sustainable approach to restoring aquatic ecosystems and protecting our water.
Given the good results obtained, it is proposed to carry out pilot studies on a larger scale to evaluate the viability of your approach in a larger environment and with a greater volume of water.
Implement a long-term monitoring program to evaluate the sustainability and long-term environmental impact of algae and agar-agar bioremediation
